Ridgeview Ranch Resident Honored

June 29, 2012

Ridgeview Ranch is a large community of 870 homes and as such our residents’ backgrounds and experiences are just as varied.  However, if you just happened to read the Shine On column in the July 2012 issue of Plano Profile magazine, you read about one of our most distinguished residents - Plano City Councilwoman and Ridgeview Ranch resident Andre Davidson.  Andre was recently honored with the 2012 Association of Leadership Professionals’ (ALP) Preceptor Award.  The award recognizes program directors who set a higher standard of excellence for leadership programs and their graduates.  Andre’s list of volunteer efforts and leadership program participation and leadership is very long and distinguished.  She is a great example of what it means to be active in transforming a community.  Congratulations Andre!

Andre, her husband Warren, daughter and son-in-law Shelley and Ray Strickland and their children are all Ridgeview Ranch residents and active volunteers.  Son-in-law Ray Strickland served on the Ridgeview Ranch HOA board for one term ending in 2010.  He continues to coordinate the semi-annual golf scramble events.  This past March, husband Warren Davidson was elected to serve on the HOA board.

Bellerive Pool Closed

June 25, 2012

The City of Plano closed the Bellerive pool today (June 25 2012) because an inspection showed that chlorine levels were too low.  The board had recently approved the installation of an additional chlorinator at this pool to help better regulate chemical levels.  The chlorinator will be installed today and a follow-up inspection with the city will be scheduled as soon as possible so that the pool can be re-opened.  We apologize for the inconvenience and will work diligently with Pool Butler (our pool maintenance vendor), CCMC and the city to get the Bellerive pool re-opened quickly.
