12th Annual Story-time with Santa & Mrs. Claus

It is time once again to celebrate the season and get that annual picture of the family with Santa & Mrs. Claus.  They will be visiting Ridgeview Ranch Sunday, December 1 at the Ridgeview Ranch Golf Clubhouse while the sleigh is getting a once over to be ready to fly come Christmas Eve.  Each participant will be given a number when they arrive to take pictures and visit with the lovely couple.  Then, at 1:30 pm, Santa will read his favorite book to the children.  We will also be collecting canned food items for Frisco Family Services!

A Message From Our Treasurer

Dear Fellow Ridgeview Ranch Residents,

It is my pleasure to be your 2013/2014 Treasurer for the Ridgeview Ranch Home Owners Association (HOA).  I wanted to take a brief moment to talk about your HOA finances.  As your treasurer, I am part of the HOA Board of Directors.  This board is made up of five residents that are elected by the community.  As a 15 year resident of Ridgeview Ranch, it is my honor to represent you on the board.

We have a fiduciary responsibility to each of you to prudently and safely manage the money of the HOA.  Our primary objective is to maintain, protect and enhance the assets of the HOA by ensuring that:

  1. The assessments are collected in a timely fashion.
  2. There are sufficient funds for the repair and replacement of the HOA’s assets.
  3. Adequate routine maintenance occurs in order to extend the life of the assets.
  4. Vendors and service providers are paid in a timely fashion while providing good and fair value for the charges incurred.

All of this is accomplished through the board responsibility of establishing an annual budget that provides for day-to-day operational occurrences as well as ensuring sufficient reserves for future needs.  I must point of that this current budget was prepared over multiple meetings that totaled over 10 hours in addition to countless individual hours by each board member and HOA management staff in preparation and out of result of our budget meetings.  I am proud to say that we discussed every penny that is planned to be spent by your HOA and analyzed it as compared to past expenditures and future plans.

Your Board of Directors is pleased to present this finalized and approved 2014 budget for Ridgeview Ranch HOA.  We are very excited about the fact that there are no increases to homeowner dues while providing for the same services that we have all come to expect while continuing our fiscal duty to provide for a reserve fund.

 I hope that you are as happy as we are with our planned budget and I encourage any homeowner to contact me if they have any questions concerning our budget.
